Movement Is Medicine is a dynamic and accessible workshop designed to help you understand how simple, daily physical activity can strengthen your overall health. Led by Ebony Harrison, MS Kinesiology, this session will explore the powerful connection between movement and wellness, especially for adults looking to boost their energy, support mobility, and improve their quality of life.
Participants will learn how staying active benefits heart health, joint function, and blood sugar management. The workshop will also cover how movement can reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and positively influence mood. You’ll receive easy, practical exercises that promote balance, strength, and vitality. No gym or special equipment required. We’ll also offer guidance on how to begin moving safely, even for those experiencing pain or limited mobility.
