The African American Reach and Teach Health Ministry (AARTH) is seeking a mission-driven leader, passionate about health equity, to serve as its next Executive Director. Leveraging AARTH’s local impact and national reach, the next Executive Director will partner with the Board of Directors and staff in advancing our charge to provide health education and capacity building services for institutions and community-based organizations serving residents, clients, and patients of the African Diaspora. Living Well with Chronic Conditions
The Program Coordinator job is a full-time position. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Manager and general responsibilities includes assisting the Program Manager with developing, implementing and coordinating, the Living Well with Chronic Conditions (LWCC) Program and projects, including various health equity program offerings. This will include participating with a team to implement work plans, develop reports; schedule program facilitators, co- facilitate workshop sessions, and market and manage workshop activities. This position places a heavy emphasis on working with health/social service agencies, community clinics, organizations, African American communities and predominately African 2 AARTH Ministry 5/25/2020 American churches to support strategies to improve health services and outcomes among African Americans/African individuals living with various chronic diseases.
AARTH’s primary funding partners include the City of Seattle Human Service Department, DSHS Aging and Disabilities, Washington State Department of Health, as well as other partners.

Workshops are offered by AARTH Ministry, a Stanford University licensed provider for the Chronic Disease Self Management Program.
